Glenda Villamar
Voice Over Artist

Welcome!

Born and raised in the beautiful State of Oregon, my educational background includes a Bachelors and Masters Degree Radiological Science and Engineering. I am constantly training to better my skills in acting and voiceover. I have experience performing in local theater, audiobook narration, commercial voiceover, corporate narration, audio dramas, radio, and podcasting. I have on set filming experience in movie, TV, and commercial acting projects.

It was during my college years working as a radio station DJ at KTEC FM, and a textbook narrator for blind and vision impaired students that I discovered my love for the spoken word. My voiceover portfolio includes audiobook narrations for Cosby Media, Audible.com/Itunes and Librivox, numerous YouTube and podcast audio story narrations, audio dramas like Power Rangers, Trial of Bruce Wayne, and Starship Excelsior, animation projects like Transformers: Arrival, radio for KTEC FM and 92.7 KOCF, and commercial voiceover. I won 2 Audio Verse Awards in 2022, Best Storyteller in a New Production, and my podcast Glenda Blasts Your Ear Off won Best New Storytelling Production and currently have 2 podcasts I narrate for that were nominees for the 2023 People's Choice Podcast Awards .

I am having so much fun doing what I love. My experience with voice over started years ago, but it took me a while to figure out that this was my creative talent. I record mostly from my home studio but do have a nearby professional studio to utilize when needed.

I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from industry experts such as animation casting director Sara Sherman, narrators Khristine Hvam and Steve Corona, acting casting directors Jake Warnecke, Kendra Castleberry, from industry VO agents Pam Goldman, Jason Sasportas, and Matt Ambrosia, and commercial voiceover casting director Lesley Bailey. I am currently training in Method Acting with the Lee Strasberg Institute for Theater & Film.

If you need a voice, let me know. I love working on public service announcements, commercials, animation, audio dramas, YouTube content narrations, audio story narrations, e-learning and corporate narrations, and much more!
