Glenda Villamar
Voice Over Artist

I was born and raised in the beautiful State of Oregon. My educational background includes a Bachelors and Masters Degree Radiological Science and Engineering. I have a background in performance arts including instrumental music (piano and alto saxophone), acting training, and performing in local theater. It was during my college years working as a radio station DJ and textbook narrator for blind and vision impaired students that I discovered my love for the spoken word. My voiceover portfolio includes audiobook narration for ACX and volunteer narrations for Librivox, YouTube and podcast audio story narrations, audio dramas, and commercial voiceover.

I am having so much fun building a career doing what I love. My experience with voice over started years ago, but it took me a while to figure out that this was my creative talent. I record mostly from my home studio but do have a nearby professional studio to utilize when needed.

I’m thrilled to say that I’ve learned from industry experts such as narrators Khristine Hvam and Steve Corona, acting casting directors Jake Warnecke, Kendra Castleberry, from industry VO agents Pam Goldman, Jason Sasportas, and Matt Ambrosia, and commercial voiceover casting director Lesley Bailey.
